![]() ![]() And I can't just outright buy them- I have to pay $40 a month for both programs indefinitely. So now I have to ditch the old Illustrator and start paying monthly for it. The only Adobe software I use is this new Photoshop CC and my now problematic old Illustrator. Yeah surprisingly it still works with Mojave even though my previous Photoshop version from around the same era would not. There are probably more granular things you could try but in my experience it's generally easier and quicker to just nuke and pave when there are multiple generations of Adobe apps intermingling. I've never understood why they make users jump through that hoop. You can ignore the instructions to manually uninstall Adobe apps (steps 2-4 in the Mac section) and just let the Cleaner tool do it-the tool is an order of magnitude faster than the built-in uninstallers and it also does a better job of removing prefs/caches/junk anyway. I would recommend that you remove every scrap of Adobe software from your Mac with Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool (assuming, of course, that you have a good backup, that you have serials/credentials readily available for the software you legitimately own, aren't on a work deadline, etc etc!) and then reinstall a fresh copy of the latest CC. ![]() ![]() Could this be because I have a 10 yr old cracked version of Illustrator still installed? ![]()
